Economic life in Islamic Egypt

Egypt had a special place among the Arabs, Egypt, and I have known throughout history as a country primarily agricultural sung by the Arabs when they wrote it. So the Muslim Arabs conquered Egypt attention dug canals, built bridges and arches, digging the canal, which was a link between the River Nile and the Red Sea to link the Mediterranean Sea through the River Nile, "and to benefit from Egypt's location between Asia, Africa, Europe and the opening of Egypt to the world

Also interested in establishing standards of Egyptian rulers of the Nile in Aswan and Cairo Dendera and to determine the amount of water inflow to Egypt to determine taxes. The Egyptians care about the important economic crop such as wheat, grain and other crops and agricultural departments have prepared her for the supervision of the agricultural land and set taxes on agricultural land with the proper treatment of the peasants collected in the opposite of what was suffered by Egyptian peasants days of the Greeks and Romans

In addition to agriculture, industry and trade have contributed to the strengthening of economic activity, such as textiles and linen, silk and wool and the most important centers of Fustat, Damietta, Akhmim addition to the glass industry, oil and sugar

Also was the site of Egypt's greatest impact on concerns over trade between the East and West, In addition to foreign trade there was internal trade.

During the Mamluk era worked to secure the ports in the Red Sea and the Mediterranean, especially in Alexandria, Damietta and Port Aivan on the Red Sea and worked to lure traders Europe to frequent these ports as well as roads Interior, secure and well cared livestock breeding all types of sheep and cattle and in hand industrial interest Mamluk military and arms industries, textiles, metals, glass, fabrics, along with many small-scale industries and micro-centers of their own in Fustat Alohmonyen, Fayoum, and Alexandria.

From here, we find that the economic situation in Egypt has seen great interest in whether agricultural, industrial or business of the rulers of Egypt until you insisting Taatba position among the nations and rulers to help install their rule of life and prosperity of the Egyptians were not exposed to the circumstances of an emergency affecting them, such as invasion or war.
