Ancient Egyptian Hair Care

Egyptians were very eager to be clean and kept their hair cut short. Flint scrapers, razors, and knives were available beginning in the Predynastic Era. Later, these flint items were used for ceremonial purposes.

Blades for knives and even for razors were later made of copper or gold, according to the wealth of the owner.

Some razors were very sharp because they were used for shaving
